I was looking through my basket of neoprints (Yes I have a basket of neoprints it's a pretty basket btw),

And I chanced upon a lot of gold photos.
I just look damn toot in ALL of them.
And remember how you will cut the small little neoprints and split them with your friends equally??
$10 for a whole piece, so you get maybe 2 pathetic '1.5cm x 1cm' square photos and 1 '4cm x 3cm' one to treasure for $5, if you split with your other friends.

It was my heaven, honestly.
I spent all my money there.
HAHAHA.
I think I spent >$300 for sure...
Having to bring all those $1 coins out....
And it was the most crazy in P5 and P6.
That was the trend man.
I even had an unofficial tampines mall neoprints 'clique' LOL.
NEOPRINTS WERE DEFINITELY THE IN-THING????

I had so many bffs/besties then....
LIKE LEGIT IF THERE WERE SO MANY NEOPRINTS I RANDOMLY TOOK UP AND SAW THE WORD 'BFF' ON IT OR 'BESTIES' OR 'BEST FRENZ' LOL.
Logic was probably: you agreed to take neoprints with me, you're my best friend.

Now it's all gone in Singapore, save a few lonely machines at arcades that are on the verge of spoiling and the photos printed all have this weird yellow tint to it......

MEANWHILE IN JAPAN, it's still Neoprints heaven.
It seem like it will never go out of trend.
And... it's only 400 yen.
That's like. SGD 4.90, you split half with your friend, and YOU GET TO KEEP AN ENTIRE STRIP OF PHOTOS EACH.

That's Japan for you.
Or maybe that's how neoprints machines are now...

OK this post is pointless but oh god I have so many memories of neoprint machines...
I remember getting scolded cause my mum saved $1 coins in our piggy banks, like all 3 of my siblings too. so basically I was taking the coins out to take neoprints and my piggy bank was like on the verge of being empty (I will leave $5 in there for good measure)

She once called me before my tuition class about it, and basically scolded me over the phone.
And I think I didn't really want to say I took the money to take neoprints???????
HAHAHA.
I just uh, uh. uh. tuition starting liao. go home then talk (i just wanted to escape the scolding asap)
LOL.

I took to my heart's content in Japan, twice with ys (400 yen each since split), twice personal shots (800 yen since I paid full duh), and then another two times (500 yen each) at HarmonyLand, where they had GUDETAMA and HELLO KITTY themed machines!!! I swear only we were excited nobody even bothered with that shop......

I actually just wanted to post these photos for laughs but I ended up typing an entire post on it HAHAHA memories man.
